When I say " Water Dog" I know you all got bit nervous about what is that creature..😉😊..It's a fish..

Usually all fish keepers know this fish as "OSCAR"

This picture shows adult Oscar fish. It had s well-built body and with much color density in its body. But baby Oscars won't have much figure like this. and sad to say they haven't much beauty than a adult😂 .

But anyone wants to keep this fish as a pet I recommend that keeping a fish from baby age is much better than keeping an adult fish at once. In todays blog I'm not going to describe about this fish's long details because I'm not a scientist or a journalist as well. I only describe my own experience on keeping an Oscar fish and some tricky ways that can practice this fish as obey as a dog.(But I will insert some details about this fish from google)

    Max Size-12 Inch

This fish is an American Cichlid fish that found on rivers in South America . There are many varieties in Oscar fish..

• Tiger Oscar(Albino, red, red patch...)
• Copper Oscar(red, gold...)
• Lemon, velvet....etc.

From My Experience...

2 Months ago I bought pair of red copper Oscar from local aquarium. As babies they are around 3 inch at the beginning without tail. They had some color patches and some blurred signs. now they have some vivid color range signs but not have full colors.

At first I feed them with pallets, usually the local pallet.. then I did some mistake I feed them tilapia raw pieces, Dried shrimps & some fish meat in couple of days in a row..

By the way they become more familiar with those foods and tried to not eat the pallets anymore.. This is the major issue when we are keeping a fish that can think and had a thinkable brain.. They thought I will give those live foods again and again and they started to refusing the pallets...

I did not feed them for 3 days live foods either pallets too. I subjected them to starve. after that I give some pallets and they started to feed on pallets back. And I give some live foods for them per once a week. If u are going to buy pair of fish you had to have minimum 55 gallon tank. If you are going to buy more than that you have to increase 10 gallons per a fish.

And main thing if you are going to keep group of fish you have to buy the group at once because I kept my Oscar pair alone for one month and after that I could not add another fish to their tank because they owned the tank. And did not like to share that with another one...Exactly cunning creature as humans😂.
